We will now  make some large insects. In this case about 30"or 500mm long. Mix up about 10lb of 2lb/cu/ft rigid foam plastic them put in a sausage shaped  plastic bag.

Saw the foam plastic to a basic shape. A Grasshopper being sawed to a basic shape.

Rough sawing a Moth to shape.

 

Rasp off foam polyurathene plastic to rough shape of insect. In this case it is a weevil.

A Weta roughly rasped to shape.
